The European Institute for Internal Controls
– EIIC is dedicated to promoting an effective internal controls environment in all organizations by providing high quality research and education in all areas of internal controls.
It is engaged in training professional Staff, such as Internal Auditors and Controllers, who will be actively engaged in promoting, implementing, monitoring and ensuring adherence to effective internal controls (as defined by COSO and Governance related laws and guidelines), Compliance, risk management, and Fraud prevention, detection and reduction.
Mission, Strategy and general operating principles
The EIIC is an organization which operates in full accord with the mission, strategy and operating principles set out by The Institute for Internal Controls (TheIIC), whose headquarters are located in southern New Jersey, USA – see: http://www.theiic.org/.
The mission of The EIIC is to promote and coordinate the development of TheIIC in Europe and as such has a supporting and coordinating role in respect of the European Chapters of TheIIC. It is a condition of association within The EIIC, that all Chapters are recognized by TheIIC and all their Members are either CICA’s or CCS’ of good standing.

- 2011-09-04 Attention all IIC Members and Sympathizers: EURO IIC MEETING IN KRAKOW, POLAND
During the 10th Int'l Congress on IC, IA, Anti-Fraud and Anti-Corruption (see: http://www.iic-polska.pl/10th-international-congress-on-internal-control-audit-and-anti-fraud-anti-corruption-issues,art_49_15.html) there will be a special Meeting of representatives of IIC Chapters/Chapters in Formation: Bulgaria, The Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, Serbia and UK & Ireland.
- 2011-08-17 Summary of the first meeting of IIC Polska Members and Sympathizers
On 30th of June, 2011, in the prestigious Sobieski Hotel in Warsaw, IIC Polska (the Poland Chapter of TheIIC) organized the first meeting of its Members and Sympathizers. Some 40 Members took part.

On the 30th of June, 2011 was elected an Honorary Member or Life by the Board of TheIIC. Additionally, he was named „TheIIC European Region Coordinator” with responsibilities for promoting and coordinating the activities of TheIIC in Europe and supporting the development of European Chapters of TheIIC.
